Job summary

Wymap Group is seeking an experienced HC Driver based in Tullamarine, Victoria, to support airfreight operations and major customer contracts. You’ll enjoy a stable roster and predictable workload, with routes from Tullamarine to Tarcutta and occasional interstate trips to Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide.

Ideal candidates hold a current HC Licence, have 12 months HC driving experience, and can pass police checks and medical/drug screenings. Safety and CoR knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current HC Licence is required.
• 12 months HC driving experience preferred.
• Interstate driving experience highly regarded.
• Ability to pass Federal Police Check for ASIC.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Understanding of CoR, fatigue management and mass management requirements.
• Airport/airfreight or transport logistics experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Transport time-sensitive airfreight shipments.
• Conduct load checks and restraint inspections.
• Manage manifests and transport documentation.
• Ensure compliance with fatigue management, CoR and NHVR requirements.

Pay Rates

• Ordinary Hours (OTE): $42.98 per hour
• Saturday (OTE): $49.62 per hour
• Sunday (OTE): $54.74 per hour

About the Role

As an Interstate HC Driver based in Tullamarine, you’ll support our growing airfreight operations and major customer contracts while enjoying a predictable roster and stable workload.

The primary route will be Tullamarine to Tarcutta for a changeover, with occasional interstate runs to Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Transporting time-sensitive airfreight shipments
• Conducting load checks and restraint inspections
• Managing manifests and transport documentation
• Ensuring compliance with fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current HC Licence
• Minimum 12 months’ HC driving experience preferred
• Interstate driving experience highly regarded
• Ability to pass a Federal Police Check to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screeningStrong driving record and commitment to safety
• Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and mass management requirements
• Airport, airfreight or transport logistics experience highly regarded
