Job summary

Talent Acquisition Group is seeking experienced HC Drivers for ongoing palletised freight work around Sydney Metro, including Penrith and Ingleburn. This role offers day shifts, 10–12 hour days, and immediate starts for drivers with a valid HC licence.

You will drive HC vehicles safely, deliver and collect palletised freight, perform pre-start checks, and ensure compliance with transport rules.

Ongoing hours and competitive rates with immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Current HC licence
• Minimum 2 years Australian heavy vehicle driving experience
• Confident reversing and trailer handling skills
• Experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Experience operating tautliner/side curtain trailers
• Strong knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work early starts, generally 5:00am-6:00am
• Ability to pass a medical, drug and alcohol screening and police check
• Current Driver History Report
• Fitness to Drive Certificate

Responsibilities

• Drive HC vehicles safely across Sydney Metro routes
• Deliver and collect palletised freight
• Complete daily pre-start checks and required paperwork
• Ensure accurate compliance with transport requirements
• Manage load restraint and fatigue requirements
• Follow Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
• Carry out general freight duties as required
• Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism
