Job summary

Randstad in Cairns is seeking a professional driver to deliver goods safely and efficiently across the Cairns region. Your daily run will include deliveries to Innisfail, Cairns, Mareeba, Atherton, and Port Douglas.

Shifts run from 0700 to 1500 with opportunities for overtime. You’ll operate container trucks and tautliners, and perform pallet jack work. Local Cairns knowledge is preferred; drug test and physical assessment will be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use data/tablet systems for deliveries.
• Good physical fitness.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and a physical assessment.
• Previous experience with side loaders is highly regarded.
• Local knowledge of the Cairns region and surrounding areas is preferred.

Your Role: You'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across the Cairns region. Your daily run will include deliveries to Innisfail, Cairns, Mareeba, Atherton, and Port Douglas.

The daily shift runs from 0700 to 1500 at a minimum, with opportunities for overtime. You'll be driving a variety of vehicles, including container trucks (end and side doors) and tautliners (curtain sides). A portion of the job involves manual and electric pallet jack work, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
