Dark Red Industries is seeking a HC Crane Truck Driver to deliver roof trusses and frames to construction sites. You will operate a crane-equipped truck, secure loads, conduct vehicle checks, and maintain clear on-site communication with builders and supervisors.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable, independent delivery scheduling in a full-time position with a modern fleet and ongoing opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Ability to safely operate a truck-mounted crane (or willingness to be trained).
• Strong knowledge of load restraint requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
• White Card preferred.
• Forklift licence or CV (Vehicle Loading Crane) highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roof trusses, wall frames and components to sites.
• Operate the truck-mounted crane to unload safely.
• Secure loads per transport regulations.
• Perform pre-start and daily vehicle checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork and records.

As a HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites. This is a hands‑on role operating a crane-equipped truck, requiring safe transport and unloading of building products while providing excellent customer service on site.

Key responsibilities

• Delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites
• Operating the truck‑mounted crane to safely unload products
• Securing loads in accordance with transport regulations
• Conducting pre‑start and daily vehicle inspections
• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• Communicating effectively with builders, site supervisors, and dispatch staff
• Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety

About you
