Job summary

Drover Ag Recruitment in Temora, NSW, seeks a full-time harvest operator for a family-owned farm growing canola, wheat and barley. You will operate modern CASE IH and John Deere headers, perform routine maintenance, and work with a small, supportive crew.

Starting in early November through Christmas or January for the right candidate, the role offers excellent remuneration, accommodation, a harvest meal and a work utility vehicle. A current licence and header experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating headers is essential.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and be able to work in a team.
• Experience in harvest seasons and maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CASE IH and John Deere headers on canola, wheat and barley.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with a small, supportive crew to achieve crop targets.
• Follow on-farm practices and work with the manager to ensure productivity.
