NSW Health, Sydney Local Health District, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Drug Health Service Harm Reduction Program at Redfern Health Centre on a full-time basis.

You will provide primary health care to a vulnerable population, perform assessments, screenings, venepuncture and immunisations, and deliver harm reduction interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a commitment to professional development.

Formación

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday.
• Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Strong interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing expertise with colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive primary health care including assessments, blood-borne virus screening, venepuncture and immunisation.
• Deliver holistic health care and evidence-based harm reduction interventions to a vulnerable population.
• Promote health, facilitate early intervention, and refer to health and social support services as needed.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes.
