Responsibilities

• Undertake general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across retail and warehouse sites.
• Carry out basic carpentry, painting, plastering, welding, and minor plumbing or electrical tasks (where licensed).
• Assist with new store fit-outs, refurbishments, and layout modifications.
• Install shelves, fixtures, and signage as required.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on smaller projects.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and ensure work areas meet safety and quality standards.
• Provide practical onsite solutions and communicate effectively with internal teams.
• Travel across multiple retail and warehouse sites throughout Queensland as required.

ABN Engagement: $40 - $50 per hour + GST

About the Role

This is a hands‑on and varied role ideal for a jack‑of‑all‑trades with a strong practical mindset. The Handyman will carry out day‑to‑day maintenance, repairs, and light construction or fit‑out tasks across multiple retail and warehouse sites. • Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport essential
• Trade qualification (carpentry, joinery, or general maintenance) desirable
• Sound problem‑solving ability and attention to detail
