Job summary

PlanetArt is seeking a Print Operations Supervisor to optimize workflow, meet print deadlines, and lead technical training for multiple print technologies. This hands-on role requires adjusting schedules, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with production leadership to ensure on-time output and quality.

You'll oversee safety, quality, and efficiency, while developing a cross-trained team and maintaining documentation and maintenance routines.

Qualifications

High school or vocational/technical diploma or certificate.
3–5 years of hands-on wide-format print production experience, with 1–3 years in a leadership role.
Experience running dye sublimation, solvent, latex, and DTF print jobs.
Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.
Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Print Operations with production management and scheduling.
Plan production capacity and staffing to execute the production plan efficiently.
Develop a cross-trained team for the departments under supervision.
Maintain safety, quality, cost, inventory accuracy, and people development goals.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and adjust print schedules as needed.
Oversee multiple wide-format printer platforms and monitor print quality.
