Job summary

PlanetArt is seeking a Print Operations Supervisor to optimize workflow, meet print deadlines, and lead technical training for multiple print technologies. This hands-on role requires adjusting schedules, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with production leadership to ensure on-time output and quality.

You'll oversee safety, quality, and efficiency, while developing a cross-trained team and maintaining documentation and maintenance routines.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational/technical diploma or certificate.
• 3–5 years of hands-on wide-format print production experience, with 1–3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience running dye sublimation, solvent, latex, and DTF print jobs.
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Print Operations with production management and scheduling.
• Plan production capacity and staffing to execute the production plan efficiently.
• Develop a cross-trained team for the departments under supervision.
• Maintain safety, quality, cost, inventory accuracy, and people development goals.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and adjust print schedules as needed.
• Oversee multiple wide-format printer platforms and monitor print quality.
