Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Construction Site Manager to oversee day-to-day on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across Southeast Queensland projects.

You will support delivery aligned with master programs and budgets, while stepping in hands-on when needed. A relevant qualification and practical site leadership are highly valued for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role or 4 years’ construction industry.
• Holding a relevant qualification such as a bachelor’s degree, Diploma of Building & Construction, or trade qualification is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with a cost-conscious mindset, able to manage resources effectively
• Practical, safety-focused, and confident coordinating and leading contractors onsite
• Thrives in a site-based environment with changing priorities and varied tasks

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day onsite activities to ensure safe and compliant site operations
• Coordinate subcontractors and support delivery in line with the master program and project budget
• Support and monitor site preparation activities
• Maintain strong safety standards across all site works
• Step in hands-on where required
