Job summary

SGAC is seeking passionate gymnastic coaches to deliver top-quality coaching across our programs and help develop and revise lesson plans. You will work in a team to create developmentally appropriate, fun, and engaging activities for children, ensuring safety and ongoing growth.

The role requires coaching qualifications (or progress toward), valid membership, First Aid, and WWCC, plus strong communication with parents and team members. Enjoy flexible rosters and staff perks in a landmark venue.

Qualifications

• Coaching qualifications or progress toward them are required.
• Current and valid technical membership, or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Working with children check clearance (18+).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality coaching for all gymnastic programs and contribute to class lesson plans.
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate gymnastic programs for children with your Team Leader.

The Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre is currently recruiting passionate coaches and leaders who enjoy teaching the fundamentals of gymnastics, all whilst creating strong, confident kids!

About the role:

A Gymnastic Coach is expected to deliver high quality coaching for our gymnastic for all programs and be involved in the development and revision of class lesson plans.

The ideal person will enjoy working in a team environment and have a genuine interest in educating kids about the benefits of this fun and energetic sport. You, alongside your Team Leader will plan and deliver challenging and developmentally gymnastics programs for children.

What you will need to be considered?

• Coaching Qualifications (or working towards)
• Current and Valid technical membership (or a willingness to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to obtain)
• Working with children Check clearance (18+ years)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
