Quest on Rheola is a 20‑apartment property located in the leafy suburb of West Perth on the CBD fringe with the Perth CBD only 2 minutes away by car and also only a street away from the beautiful Kings Park and Botanic Garden. The property opened in 2005 and we have just completed a furniture refurbishment in all apartments with more exciting enhancements on the way.
At Quest on Rheola, we’re on the lookout for a new Guest Services Supervisor to join the team on a part‑time basis working 30–34 hours per week Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holiday work may be required from time to time.
Reporting to the Business Owners, the role involves leading a small reception team, as well as hands‑on reception tasks, including delivering effortless guest experiences, providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, following up accommodation accounts, promoting the business to achieve sales targets, processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture, assisting corporate and leisure guests, ensuring the smooth running of the reception team and function and, in the absence of the Business Owners, providing relief management of the property.
Your team leadership activities will involve working closely with the Business Owners on recruitment, rostering, training and leadership of the front office team to ensure high levels of work productivity and quality, positive employee engagement and retention, and strong with Quest’s established model and procedures.
Will demonstrate a passion for customer service, advanced skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills, high standards of personal presentation, and strong leadership capabilities.
Prior experience in a front‑office reception role in a hotel environment is essential, and prior experience with leading a team would be a distinct advantage.
Qualifications in a business discipline or the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
