Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Canberra is seeking a Guest Experience Associate dedicated to delivering service excellence. You will welcome guests, assist during their stay, and coordinate with front desk, housekeeping and F&B to meet guest needs.

You will handle inquiries, provide directions, and contribute to a welcoming lobby atmosphere. Barista skills and F&B experience are valued, with flexible weekend hours. We offer training and generous room discounts as part of our benefits.

• Food and Beverage experience, including bar and barista skills.

We're looking for a service focused Guest Experience Associate to join our team:

Your day to day:

Welcoming guests on arrival and providing assistance throughout their stay with a friendly and professional attitude.

Assist guests with directions, hotel facilities, local attractions, transportation, and special requests.

Monitor lobby areas to ensure cleanliness, organisation, and a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments to meet guest needs.

Assist with orders and serve food & beverage in the lobby and other outlets.

Support with guest check-in and check-out processes when required.

What we need from you:

Experience in hospitality, customer service, or guest relations in hotels

Food and Beverage experience, including bar and barista skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Local Canberra attraction, events and tourism knowledge is an advantage.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
