Job summary

TCR Group is seeking an Automotive Mechanic for our Sydney Workshop to service and repair ground support equipment. You’ll perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics on diesel-powered GSE, using your trade skills to keep aircraft operations moving safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant mechanic qualification, have their own tools, and can work under safety standards. Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical fault finding is valued; a current

Qualifications

• Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
• Own tools required.
• Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is valued.
• Current and valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on ground support equipment.
• Diagnose issues and carry out diagnostics to ensure safe operation.
• Report to Shift Supervisor and under State Service Manager.
• Promote a safety-first approach in all tasks.
• Collaborate with fabricators, technicians and assistants to implement effective solutions.
• Utilise aviation GSE knowledge to service a wide range of equipment.
• Work with multiple unique GSE machines and systems.
