A leading audit and consulting firm in Brisbane is seeking an Intermediate Auditor for a permanent full-time role. The candidate will liaise with clients, draft annual financial reports, and conduct statutory audits. Ideal applicants have a Commerce or Business degree majoring in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience as an External Auditor. Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience as an External Auditor ideally within a mid-tier or top-tier audit firm.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients concerning audit and accounting queries.
- Collating and documenting audit evidence over material balances and transactions.
- Drafting of annual financial reports.
- Conducting statutory audits with general purpose financial reporting.
Skills
Understanding of assurance/audit skills and methods
Understanding of IFRS or AASB
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional client skills
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office
Education
Commerce or Business degree majoring in Accounting
Currently studying CA/CPA
