Job summary

Prouds Jewellers Pty Ltd in Summer Hill NSW is seeking a Group Stock Hand - Despatch to join our store network. You'll handle receiving, sorting, packing and dispatching stock across our stores with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy is essential.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and also independently.
• Experience planning, organizing, and implementing actions to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and workplace procedures.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, picking, packing and despatching stock.
• Unpack, sort and store incoming stock and manage store returns.
• Prepare stock for despatch and support timely deliveries to stores.
• Process region buckets and ensure completed picks are stored correctly.
• Scan and process stock transfers, recalls and store-to-store movements.
• Support inventory accuracy by identifying discrepancies.
• Conduct stock counts and cycle counts as required.
• Liaise with couriers for collection and delivery of stock.
• Manage store mail and allocate it to the correct departments.
• Replenish picking benches with packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and recycle materials.

About the role

Ready to play a key role in keeping our stores stocked and our operations running smoothly? As a Group Stock Hand - Despatch at JPL Group, you'll be part of a fast-paced team responsible for receiving, sorting, picking, packing and dispatching stock across our store network. From processing transfers and preparing store deliveries to maintaining stock accuracy and supporting daily warehouse operations, you'll help ensure the right products reach the right place at the right time. What will you do?

• Follow safe manual handling practices and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with picking and packing orders as required in both the distribution centre and warehouse
• Assist with unpacking, sorting, and putting away stock and store returns
• Prepare store bags for despatch and support timely deliveries to stores
• Promptly put away completed picks from region buckets
• Scan and process incoming stock transfers, recalls, and store-to-store movements
• Support inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting discrepancies
• Conduct stock counts and cycle counts as required
• Liaise with couriers for the collection and delivery of store bags and other stock
• Manage incoming and outgoing store mail and allocate it to the correct departments
• Refill picking benches with recycled packaging to support order processing
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including recycling and repacking materials

• Proven ability to work well both in a team as well as individually
• Proven ability to plan, organise, implement actions and achieve effective outcome
