Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Melbourne is seeking passionate Group Fitness Instructors to build a premium seven-day timetable from 6:00am to 8:30pm, delivering engaging sessions across Aqua, Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Les Mills, and more. Ideal candidates will be registered fitness leaders with Les Mills qualifications, First Aid & CPR, and Working With Children clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the fitness industry.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent; Fitness Australia registration desirable.
• Working with Children clearance preferred (mandatory check noted).

Responsibilities

• Deliver group fitness classes across seven days from 6am to 8:30pm.
• Engage members with high-quality service and safe, challenging sessions.
• Assist with timetable participation and fill-in classes as needed.

Next Gen has an enviable reputation as being the premium name in the Health and Fitness industry and has opened a brand new, premium, members-only health and lifestyle club to Melbourne and we are looking for passionate Group Fitness Instructors who would love the opportunity to change people's lives within a premium health club environment?

We are seeking vibrant Group Fitness Instructors to build our comprehensive group fitness offering seven days a week from 6:00am to 8:30pm.

Some of the Classes on offer include:

• Aqua
• Spin
• Yoga
• Boxing
• Zumba
• Barre
• Tai Chi
• Pilates - Mat and Reformer
• Les Mills BODYPUMP
• Les Mills BODYCOMBAT

Essential Criteria:

• Registered fitness leaders
• Les Mills qualified
• Working With Children/Vulnerable People check
• Current CPR certification

Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Classes cover a 7-day timetable from 6am to 8:30pm
• To exceed the expectations of members in our Group Fitness Program
• To be available to assist in regular timetable participation in allocated and fill in classes
• To be able to instruct safely while providing members with a challenging and fun environment.

About You

• A passion for member engagement and high quality customer service;
• Demonstrated group exercise experience while ensuring safety, growth and quality;
• Proven ability to develop, propose and implement ideas;
• Experience with setting and meeting performance targets and motivating members;
• Strong interest and passionate about health & fitness industry;
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver innovate fitness programs;

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience within the industry;
• First Aid & CPR;
• Recognized health and fitness qualifications to a minimum level of Certificate IV including Registration with Fitness Australia desirable, not essential
• Working with Children clearance.
