Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Bathurst is seeking a casual Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group classes at the Bathurst Aquatic Centre. You will communicate effectively with participants of varying ages and abilities, delivering safe, energetic sessions.

Applicants should hold current First Aid/CPR, Working with Children Check, Police check, and a Cert III in Fitness (or equivalent). Relevant accreditation is valued, with a strong community‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Senior First Aid certificate.
• Must hold current CPR certificate.
• Working with Children's Check is required.
• Current National Police check is required.
• Cert III in Fitness (or equivalent) is required.
• Relevant program accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and lead group fitness sessions for diverse participants.
• Ensure participant safety and provide guidance during classes.
• Engage with participants and respond to individual needs.
• Work as part of a team and also independently as required.

Education

Current Senior First Aid Certificate

Current CPR Certificate

Working with Children's Check

Current National Police check

Cert III in Fitness (or equivalent)

We’re on the look out for an energetic, suitably qualified, motivated Group Fitness Instructor.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly Group Fitness Instructors to come and join our fantastic team.

You will have the ability to communicate and interact effectively with participants that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. Demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable member of the team.
