Job summary

Freecity, a dynamic property development group based in Sydney, seeks a Senior Finance role to strengthen the Finance function across the Group. You will lead day-to-day financial management, reporting to management and directors, and drive accuracy and timeliness of financial outputs.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and ensure robust controls and compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• CPA Australia or CA Australia and New Zealand membership is required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of accounting and finance experience, including senior finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial management and reporting across the Group.
• Ensure timely, accurate and reliable financial information for management and directors.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and accountability across all Group entities.
• Manage Group-level budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and financial performance analysis.
• Review financial work and reporting for all Group-related entities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate consolidated financial reporting across operating companies, project entities and trusts.
• Oversee statutory, taxation and regulatory compliance including ATO, Revenue NSW and ASIC.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to the Finance team.
• Partner with business leaders to support commercial decision-making and project performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting processes.
