Job summary

Downer is seeking entry level Groundspersons for permanent roles at RAAF Amberley in Queensland. This outdoor-focused position offers a pathway into a Defence-related workplace with opportunities to learn new skills and develop your career.

You will maintain grounds, identify risks, and gain hands-on training with ride-on mowers and other equipment. A current driver's licence and Defence Clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Current Open Driver's Licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and upkeep for site grounds and gardens
• Identify and manage risks associated with grounds maintenance
• Will be trained in using equipment such as ride on mowers and whipper snippers
