Job summary

Grace Group is seeking a Driver/Removalist to join our removals team. You will travel to different locations daily, perform packing/unpacking, loading, and assist with paperwork on a tablet while delivering a high level of customer service.

The role offers on-site work across Australia with ongoing training and opportunities to upgrade licences (HR/HC/Forklift) and advance within the company. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must hold MR or higher heavy vehicle licence.
• Customer-focused attitude and reliable team player.
• Physically fit; able to lift and exert.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and unpack customer effects carefully.
• Load and unload vehicles.

About The Role

As a member of the Grace Removals team, we are looking for an outgoing and customer focused Driver/Removalist to take on a varied role that requires you to be out and about in a different location each day, largely working unsupervised, where no two days are the same.

The duties will include:

• Careful packing and unpacking of customer effects
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Read and complete paperwork required, sometimes using a tablet
• Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift & delivery
• Helping maintain clean and tidy vehicles, equipment and warehouse

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• A heavy goods driving licence – MR minimum
• A friendly, helpful, honest, and customer first focussed can-do attitude
• Be eager to learn, proactive and embrace change with a high level of professionalism
• Be reliable, hard-working and there for your team mates
• Care about your personal appearance and have a helpful friendly manner
• Be physically fit; lifting and physical exertion is part of the role
