Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a skilled Information Security professional to strengthen governance, risk and compliance with a focus on third-party security. The role collaborates with procurement, legal and technology teams to embed practical, scalable security practices across the organisation.

You will leverage AI/automation to streamline assessments, identify risks, and provide meaningful insights for leadership.

Qualifications

3+ years in GRC, cyber security or risk/compliance.
Exposure to third-party/vendor risk management is desirable.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to translate technical risks into clear business language.
Desirable: experience supporting ISO 27001 or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

Conduct security assessments for vendors using a risk-based approach.
Maintain and uplift the third-party risk register and related processes.
Support due diligence for new vendors and contract renewals.
Monitor vendor compliance with security and privacy requirements.
Provide reporting and guidance to leadership; contribute to governance reporting.
Assist with Awareness Training and awareness programs.
