Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Graduate Urban Designer to join the Strategic & Place Planning team in Sydney. This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week and offers the chance to develop professional knowledge across urban design disciplines.

Reporting to the Manager and under the guidance of the Principal Urban Designer, you will support delivery of place planning, strategic planning and development assessment, participate in mentoring, and contribute to high-quality design

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Council's urban design, place planning and strategic planning program
• Build technical capability through involvement in strategic planning, development assessment, place planning and public domain projects
• Contribute to high-quality design outcomes while participating in mentoring and professional development
• Support delivery of Council's Urban Design work program to create sustainable, liveable places across the Northern Beaches
