Job summary

GAT & Associates in Sydney is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join our team. The role involves assessments of residential, commercial and industrial projects, and the preparation of planning reports and proposals for Development Applications and Complying Development.

You will develop client relationships, apply planning policies, provide general planning advice, attend Council meetings, and assist in Statements of Facts and Contentions.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Planning
• A strong understanding of planning legislation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and attention to detail
• Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to manage own projects as well as those of other team members within an agreed time frame
• The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously as required and be deadline orientated
• Current driver's licence is essential
