Job summary

AECOM is seeking a 2027 Graduate Systems and Safety Assurance Engineer in Sydney, Australia. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience across transport planning and infrastructure, with mentors from Systems Engineering, RAM and Safety Assurance teams.

You will gain practical skills—from hazard identification to safety documentation—while supporting delivery of safe, high‑performing systems on nationally significant projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or Postgraduate) completed or in final year.
• Commencement by February 2027 (able to start by July 2027 for mid-year finishers).
• Must have full working rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Work on nationally significant transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Learn from Systems Engineering, RAM and Safety Assurance specialists.
• Develop skills in hazard identification, risk assessment and requirements management.
• Contribute to safety documentation, hazard logs and system safety risk registers.
