About the Role

This entry-level position is perfect for new graduates with qualifications in Marketing Communications, Advertising, Media or Social Media.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity for a period of 12 months based in Brisbane commencing January 2026.

Responsibilities

You’ll be working closely with our Social Media and Campaigns Officers to:

  • Create engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Manage online communities using Sprout Social (or similar tools)
  • Monitor trends, flag emerging issues and elevate when needed
  • Act as a bridge between subject matter experts (SMEs) and our audiences
  • Support campaign execution and digital storytelling

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop engaging social media content aligned with the NHVR social media strategy
  • Support the Manager Campaigns and the social media team to implement social media campaign strategies
  • Respond to comments and direct messages on NHVRs social media channels with accurate, timely and customer-focused information
  • Monitor social media platforms to identify issues and trends and report on activity to improve performance and inform the organisation
  • Prepare content to support broader campaign work including newsletter articles, presentations, reports and other communications collateral

What We’re Looking For
  • A recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related field
  • Strong written and visual storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Must have experience developing content for social media using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
  • Familiarity with Sprout Social or other social media management platforms is a bonus
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and how audiences engage with each
