Job summary

TikTok is seeking graduates to join the Video and Edge Global Engineering team in Sydney, Australia. You will help build a robust global infrastructure for video on demand and live streaming that serves billions of users worldwide.

As a graduate, you will collaborate across teams to design, implement, and operate scalable systems, participate in monitoring and automation, and contribute to ongoing improvements while growing in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one of C, C++, Java, Python.
• Knowledge of networking, OS, databases and container technology.
• Experience with microservice architectures and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build global infrastructure for multi-media transport, storage and processing to serve billions of users.
• Engage in global production system management including monitoring and capacity planning.
• Develop tools, automation, observability and monitoring to improve operations.
• Contribute to the service lifecycle from design through deployment and refinement.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation to improve reliability and speed.
