Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care Australia invites applications for Graduate Registered Nurses to join Langwarrin Community Aged Care in Victoria. The program provides a state-of-the-art residence and a structured 12-month graduate nurse program with dedicated clinical support.

Ideal candidates will have AHPRA registration, under 12 months post-registration experience, and a passion for providing dignified, safe, and independent resident care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
• Less than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of like-minded care professionals.
• Ability to understand assessments and develop care plans.
• Ability to communicate complex care plan needs to residents and representatives.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated computer and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in managing time effectively and working autonomously.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and well-being support to residents and maintain their dignity, safety, and independence.
• Contribute to a structured Graduate Nurse Program and development orientation.
• Work with on-site clinical teams to deliver high-quality aged care.
• Assist in assessing residents and contributing to care planning and reviews.
