About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a recent Graduates to join our Project Management & Installation Team. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be the interface between Project Managers and Project Engineers on major projects to support them through the project life cycle. Don’t miss your chance to work with and learn from our more experienced teams to gain invaluable project management knowledge and skills. Comprehensive training will be provided.

This role is located in Belrose, Sydney, and the role will also be based at various project sites (as required) and also have some flexibility to work from home once initial training has been completed.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
  • General support to the Project Managers and Project Engineers on large, complex projects
  • Support Project Managers with the timely and accurate project reporting, revenue collection and cash flow planning
  • Support Project Managers with the production and tracking of project documentation eg training documentation, work packages
  • Manage drawing submissions and follow up
  • Raise purchase requisitions, invoice reconciliation and work closely with Procurement
  • Drive project schedules and tracking
  • Client meeting participation, writing minutes
  • Manage specific vendor packages
  • Assist the Site Managers with onsite checks and coordination, quality control and progress checks
  • Assist in the management and coordination of subcontractors
  • Ensure open, regular and effective communication with all project team members
  • Develop tools to enhance project and site process improvements
  • Proactively promote innovation, improvements, risk identification and WH&S
About You - What We Are Looking For
As our ideal candidate, you will have :
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (preferably Mechatronics or Mechanical)
  • Any experience or background working in logistics, warehouse solutions, or warehouse fit outs is highly regarded
  • Experience in a project environment
  • AutoCAD experience and knowledge of 2D / 3D drawings (ability to interpret drawings and problem solve)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Excel, MS Project & Power BI
  • Attention to detail and superior organisational skills
  • Mechanical savvy
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to travel interstate from time to time as needed
