Job summary

Avina in New South Wales offers a 12-month Graduate Program for Occupational Therapists to help you develop your clinical identity and confidence. The program starts with structured onboarding, shadowing, supervision and a broad range of practice areas across community, clinic, home and school settings.

Throughout the year you’ll participate in MDT collaboration, case discussions and professional development, building skills in areas like daily living, sensory regulation and assistive technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy completed or nearing completion.
• AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Interest in disability and community-based practice.
• Curiosity, initiative, willingness to learn and openness to feedback.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Occupational Therapy services across community, clinic, home and school.
• Take on growing caseload with increasing ownership as you progress.
• Engage in regular supervision and case discussions.
• Collaborate within MDT and participate in professional development.
• Prepare reports and maintain clinical documentation.
