Allied Connect on the Sunshine Coast is inviting new graduate Occupational Therapists to start a supported career in community and aged care. You’ll complete home visits, write plans, and grow under one-on-one mentoring from an experienced clinician.

This role offers flexible full-time, part-time or casual arrangements, a clear career path, ongoing professional development, and visa sponsorship for eligible AHPRA-registered candidates. A current driver's licence is required.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to apply.
• A recent graduate (or final-year student) with a genuine interest in community and aged care.
• A current driver's licence.
• Warm, organised and keen to learn.

Responsabilités

• Visiting clients in their homes to complete functional and home safety assessments, write reports and develop goal-focused therapy plans.
• Assessing residents on entry to aged care facilities and developing therapy, wellness and reablement programs.
• Working alongside facility staff and our multidisciplinary team on falls prevention.
• Prescribing, monitoring and adjusting assistive equipment, and recommending home modifications.
• Running one-on-one and group therapy sessions to support independence in daily living.
• Managing your own schedule, with support to learn funding programs such as Support at Home (SaH), CHSP, NDIS, DVA, QCSS and RCP.
