Job summary

Benmax Pty in Queanbeyan is looking for a Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our team and get real work from day one. You’ll work on HVAC projects alongside experienced engineers, with daily guidance and hands-on learning on site.

Qualifications

• Flexible and eager to learn with a growth mindset.
• Eligibility to obtain an AGSVA security clearance.
• Exposure to engineering or construction projects.
• Familiarity with Python, Camel, or Procore.

Responsibilities

• Running engineering calculations, concept layouts and equipment selection.
• Supporting project planning, budgets, documentation and QA.
• Applying industry codes and standards (with guidance while you're finding your feet).
• Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, including reviewing options and supporting procurement.
• Using Procore and other tools to manage project workflows and reporting.
