Job summary

GHD is seeking a Materials Engineering graduate in Western Australia to join the 2027 Graduate cohort, commencing February 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across pavement, concrete, asphalt and geotechnical investigations, while contributing to design, construction and maintenance of roads and bridges.

The two-year Graduate Development Program provides mentorship, collaboration with peers and cross-disciplinary exposure to deliver practical, sustainable infrastructure outcomes in WA.

Qualifications

• Formal study in materials engineering fundamentals.
• Interest in construction materials testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessment, testing and selection of construction materials for transport infrastructure projects.
• Support pavement, concrete, asphalt and geotechnical investigations and analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and project documentation.
• Work with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Participate in site inspections, fieldwork and laboratory testing activities.
