Job summary

Proactive Health invites new graduates to join its Exercise Physiologist graduate program, starting February 2027. You’ll be mentored by senior EPs and work within a multidisciplinary team across 350+ clinics nationally, gaining structured 12-month development and case review.

Successful candidates will complete a graduate induction, experience supervised practice, and have a clear pathway beyond the grad year with ongoing MDT support and charity collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or equivalent.
• ESSA AEP accreditation or eligibility upon graduation.
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID011/ HLTAID009) or ability to secure.
• Queensland Blue Card or willingness to apply.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check to be completed before starting.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and prescribe exercise for chronic disease, injury and complex conditions.
• Run 1:1 sessions and small groups in gym/hydro/Pilates settings.
• Work across Medicare, DVA, NDIS, WorkCover and private clients.
• Write clear reports/letters for GPs and referrers using Heidi AI notetaking.
• Build your caseload with mentor support throughout the program.
