Kerang District Health in Victoria invites applications for a 6-month Enrolled Nurse graduate program. A minimum of 24 hours per week, with excellent opportunities for ongoing employment upon successful completion, and access to a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator.

The program includes an orientation, graduate study days, supernumerary time, and support from educator and preceptors. You will gain Acute and Aged Care experience and participate in regular in-service and debrief sessions.

Qualifications

• Current registration or eligibility as Enrolled Nurse (Diploma of Nursing) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Evidence of commitment to values-based organisation and eagerness to learn.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The program on offer will incorporatethe following:

A comprehensiveorientation program including graduate specific study days and supernumerarytime in the clinical area.

Acute and Aged Care experience

Regular in-service and debrief sessions.

Educator and preceptor supportincluding two professional development days with our Clinical Nurse Educator

The program has been designed to:

KDH is a 50 bed rural health services with a strongrelationship with neighboring health partners, providing an integrated range ofacute services - including oncology and surgical services; a bed based andcommunity based transition care program and post-acute care service; districtnursing services; residential aged care and community services to Kerang andthe wider community.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this excitingopportunity, you will have current registration or be eligible for registrationas an Enrolled Nurse (Diploma of Nursing qualification) with the Nursing andMidwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) prior to the agreed date for commencementof employment and, have not previously worked as an Enrolled Nurse.
