Job summary

SMEC is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Traralgon Water Infrastructure team. This role offers an immediate start with a path to a long-term career within a global engineering consultancy and a hybrid work environment.

You will contribute to water projects across the full water cycle, gain hands-on experience in proposals, reports and technical documentation, and participate in mentoring, workshops, and industry events as part of our Graduate Development Program.

Qualifications

• Recent Civil Engineering graduate (within 2 years) with a credit average.
• A keen desire to build a long-term career in water infrastructure with an international consultancy.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
• Knowledge of analytical methods and engineering principles.

The role

We are seeking a recent Graduate Civil Engineer with a keen desire to build a long-term career in Water Infrastructure to join our Traralgon team.

Our Water team provides end-to-end solutions across the full water cycle, including major pipelines, large-scale pumping stations, and advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment facilities.
