Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join the NSW Systems team and gain hands-on experience in design, programming, testing, commissioning, and delivery of Building Management and Control Systems (BMCS). You will work with experienced engineers on projects spanning smart building technologies, automation, and energy efficiency, with mentoring and structured training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Control Systems.
• Strong interest in building automation, HVAC controls, industrial automation, or control systems.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, programming, testing, and commissioning of BMCS per customer specs and Johnson Controls standards.
• Support development of control strategies for new and existing installations.
• Assist in GUI and visualization development per customer and company standards.
• Participate in software testing and validation to ensure system performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Contribute to project documentation, design reviews, and QA processes.
• Support project delivery to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget.
