Job summary

PHE Group in Brisbane is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its design team. You will be accountable for delivery of design completion and defect artefacts in line with the project delivery programme, requiring meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

You will assist in documentation, site inspections, and producing designs, specifications and calculations in consultation with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in mining and construction industry.
• Hold a BE and AD of Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of LV power system modelling and software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of documentation for project works using standard drafting procedures with CAD equipment & software.
• Prepare technical documentation, carry out site inspections, markup drawings and backdraft as required
• Provide detailed designs, specifications and calculations in consultation with senior Engineers
• Reporting and progress tracking within relevant registers for meeting and communication to management and relevant stakeholders
• Providing input into the necessary documentation applicable to Completions and Commissioning
• Manage technical queries, drawings registers and document control
