Descripción del empleo

REAL PROJECTS. REAL ENGINEERING. ENGINEER WHAT'S NEXT.

Don't just study engineering. Get out there and do it.

At Beyond Electrical Engineering (BEE), we're looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to get involved in real engineering, solve practical problems and help shape the future of energy and infrastructure.

From renewable energy and battery storage to high voltage substations, power systems and industrial automation, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that make a difference.

What Will You Actually Do?

No two days will be quite the same, but you can expect to:

  • Design real electrical systems – Work on drawings, calculations, equipment selection and electrical designs for major projects.
  • Solve engineering problems – Help investigate technical challenges, develop solutions and learn how engineering decisions are made.
  • Get hands‑on experience – Visit sites, inspect equipment and support testing and commissioning to see how your designs work in the real world.
  • Work with technology – Use engineering software, modelling tools and automation systems across HV, LV, Protection, Power Systems and SCADA.
  • Learn from experienced engineers – Work alongside technical specialists, ask plenty of questions and gradually take on more responsibility.
  • Work with customers and project teams – Join technical discussions, collaborate with other disciplines and see how projects move from concept to completion.
Why BEE?

We're a growing Australian engineering business where you'll get opportunities to learn, contribute and explore different areas of engineering before deciding where you want to specialise.

We take our engineering seriously, but not ourselves. Expect a team that enjoys a laugh, a bit of healthy competition over ping‑pong or foosball, regular BBQs and social events. We work hard, help each other out and believe enjoying where you work matters just as much as the projects you deliver.

What We're Looking For
  • Recent or soon‑to‑be graduates in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline who:
  • Are curious about technology and how things work.
  • Enjoy solving problems and finding practical solutions.
  • Aren't afraid to ask questions or challenge ideas.
  • Want to develop practical engineering skills and learn from others.
  • Bring enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to get involved.
You don't need to know everything. You just need the drive to learn.
About BEE

Beyond Electrical Engineering delivers electrical engineering, automation, commissioning and operational support services across Australia and internationally. Our teams work across renewable energy, utilities, mining, transport, manufacturing and major infrastructure, supporting projects from concept through to commissioning.

Your Future Starts Here

Your first engineering job should be more than a line on your CV. At BEE, you'll work on real projects, learn from great engineers, make some mates along the way and build the skills for a rewarding career.
