Job summary

Lucid Consulting Australia is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer for our Adelaide office to support design and delivery of electrical building services. You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit while engaging with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, develop technical and professional skills, attend site inspections, and contribute to sustainable, practical engineering solutions across diverse projects.

What this role is all about

We currently have an available position for a Graduate Electrical Engineer within our Adelaide office.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the design and delivery of electrical building services across a diverse range of projects. You will gain hands‑on experience in electrical design, modelling, technical documentation, site inspections, and client engagement while developing the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful engineering career.

How you’ll contribute day-to-day

• Contribute to the design and delivery of innovative electrical engineering solutions, including technical calculations and system design development.


• Develop and apply engineering models and drawings using industry-leading software such as AutoCAD and Revit.


• Prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.


• Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams to support successful project outcomes.


• Build professional networks and industry knowledge by representing Lucid at industry events and networking opportunities.


• Attend project, design, and site meetings alongside Project Team Leaders, gaining valuable exposure to project delivery and stakeholder engagement.


• Assist with site inspections, surveys, and the resolution of technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.


• Support the delivery of practical, sustainable, and client-focused engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects.

• A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline) from an Australian-recognised university.
