Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Dietitian Level 1 to provide high quality nutrition care to patients across Balmain, Canterbury, and Concord hospitals. The role includes nutrition education, counselling and involvement in quality assurance activities.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and be eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics enabling full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
• Evidence of excellent academic performance with final clinical placement supervisor as referee.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Dietetic service to inpatients and outpatients.
• Deliver nutrition care, education, counselling and nutrition support.
• Engage in quality assurance and service development activities.
