Job summary

Synogize in Australia is seeking a Graduate Consultant to join our Data & Analytics team in Sydney/Melbourne. You'll work with senior consultants on data modeling, ETL, and BI tool integrations to deliver data-driven solutions.

This role focuses on building pipelines, learning dbt/Matillion, and collaborating with clients to translate business challenges into actionable insights while growing technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation tools such as dbt and Coalesce.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Fabric, or Databricks.
• Basic data visualization skills with Tableau/Power BI/Looker.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: Design, develop and maintain data models for internal and client analytics needs.
• ETL Development: Assist in building efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to transform raw data.
• Data Transformation: Apply dbt and Matillion for SQL-based transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

A strong academic background in data analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
