AECOM in Perth is seeking a Graduate Hydrologist to support flood, drainage and water resources projects across mining, development and government clients. You will work with experienced engineers and hydrologists on projects spanning flood modelling, stormwater management and catchment assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate Attributes: strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelor's Degree: you must be in your final year or have completed a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or related field.
• Graduate Year: you must have completed your studies and graduated before starting the program.
• Commencement: you must be able to commence work by February 2027 (mid-year finishers able to start by July 2027 accepted).
• Working Rights: you must have full working rights in Australia before applying.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing hydrologic and hydraulic models (TUFLOW, RORB, HEC-RAS) for flood and drainage studies.
• Support data collection, GIS analysis, and catchment delineation for project inputs.
• Contribute to technical reports, design drawings, and client deliverables under senior guidance.
• Assist with site investigations, data gathering, and field assessments as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transport and mining, plus civil, environmental, and structural engineers.
• Support preparation of proposals and scopes of work.

Work alongside experienced engineers and hydrologists on a variety of projects spanning flood modelling, stormwater management, and catchment assessments
