Stantec in Australia invites graduates to join our Graduate Program as a Civil Engineer. You will work on Water Resources, Water Infrastructure and Water (Dams & Hydropower) projects as part of a collaborative team.

As a graduate, you’ll gain hands-on design experience, perform calculations, and contribute to reports while developing through mentorship and real client exposure across multiple sites in NSW and beyond.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Passion for learning and problem-solving.
• Australian Citizen, PR, or NZ Citizen.
• Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings to facilitate project coordination.
• Complete design calculations within time and budget restraints.
• Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts.
• Utilise AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create/modify engineering plans.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation.
• Conduct site visits to observe and monitor construction activities.
