Job summary

GHD in Brisbane is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer for our 2-year Graduate Development Program starting February 2027. Based out of our Brisbane office, you will work on infrastructure projects, supporting delivery with on-site and office-based activities.

You will collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, develop your technical capabilities, and learn construction practices, contracts, and risk management as you grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Interest in construction phase and major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of major infrastructure and construction projects in Queensland and beyond.
• Assist with construction surveillance, inspections and quality assurance both on-site and in the office.
• Collaborate with contractors, clients and technical specialists to resolve construction challenges and achieve project outcomes.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, reviewing construction methodologies and ensuring works meet design and project requirements.
• Support preparation of technical reports, site records and construction progress updates.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams across transport, water, energy and other sectors.
• Develop understanding of construction contracts, stakeholder management, risk management and industry best practices.
