Job summary

Moore Australia Graduate Program offers structured learning, mentoring and development opportunities, including access to a national Graduate Conference and CA/CPA pathway support. In this role you will work closely with senior Audit team members, gaining exposure to multiple industries from day one and receiving comprehensive training.

You will attend client sites, assist with fieldwork and document workpapers, perform balance sheet testing and substantive testing, and gradually take on greater

Qualifications

• Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Audit & Assurance.
• Confident communicator and team player.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles and a proactive learner.

Responsibilities

• Attending client sites and gaining exposure to a variety of businesses and industries.
• Assisting with audit fieldwork and the preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with stocktakes and other on-site audit procedures.
• Reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation under guidance from senior team members.
• Assisting with balance sheet testing, reconciliations and supporting audit procedures.
• Performing transactional testing across areas such as payroll, revenue, cash, payables, GST and prepayments.
