Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Graduate Accountant to provide support to the Finance Manager across Austbreck Pty Ltd and RMS Pty Ltd. The role covers day-to-day accounting tasks, monthly reporting, budgeting support, project accounting, and compliance, with training in Sage, M1 and OneStream.

Based in Ry­dalmere, NSW, the position is full-time and hybrid, with three days in the office and two work-from-home days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA/CA qualification in progress or planned.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excel proficiency; Sage, M1 and OneStream training provided.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Prior internship or part-time finance experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting for both Austbreck and RMS.
• Post journals and reconcile general ledger; assist asset management and depreciation schedules.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger; prepare accruals and adjusting journals.
• Support intercompany transactions and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with Shared Services to resolve finance queries and ensure data accuracy.
• Generate reports from Sage, M1, and OneStream and ensure data integrity across ERP systems.
