Roc Consulting Accounting Positions – Brisbane QLD is seeking a Graduate Accountant to join the team and support financial operations. The role offers exposure to a market-leading residential construction company and a pathway to develop expertise within a growing business.

You will work under a CFO and a small finance team, assisting with monthly financial and management reporting, statutory reporting, and accounts payable/receivable.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or close to degree qualification.
• Public Practice experience is desirable.
• Experience with Xero is required.

POSITION

Due to incredible growth the position of Graduate Accountant has been created.

This role will involve and not be limited to:

• Work under a highly experienced CFO and a small finance team
• Assist with monthly financial and management reporting
• Assist with statutory reporting
• Assist with AP and AR

This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career in the commercial space.

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Degree Qualified or close to being degree qualified
• 6 months+ accounting or bookkeeping experience (exposure to the construction industry is desirable but not necessary)
• Public Practice experience highly desirable (business services or bookkeeping)
• Experience with Xero
• Very stable employment history (non negotiable)
• Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills (non negotiable)
• A self starter who is able to take direction from managers
