The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is seeking a part-time Medical Educator to deliver high-quality GP training across Mackay, Rockhampton and Hervey Bay locations in Queensland. You will support registrars, supervise trainers and contribute to workforce planning with a focus on culturally safe training solutions.

Qualifications

• RACGP fellowship or equivalent with current specialist GP registration.
• Strong interest in medical education and registrar development.
• Experience teaching or facilitating doctors in training.
• Collaborative approach with supervisors and local stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical teaching, mentoring and pastoral support to registrars across the training lifecycle.
• Support and develop supervisors through advice, professional development activities and accreditation-related requirements.
• Contribute to workforce planning and promotion of general practice, including pipeline engagement and AGPT selection activities.
• Collaborate with local teams and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners to support culturally safe training, quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
