About the Role

As our Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the clinic and ensure the smooth, efficient, and professional delivery of services. This role combines leadership, people engagement, problem-solving, and strategic thinking — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make an impact.

You will:
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing reception and admin team
  • Support GPs and clinical staff to deliver seamless patient care
  • Manage rosters, workflows, daily operations, and quality standards
  • Oversee financial processes, billing, batching, PIP/WIP and compliance
  • Handle HR, recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and performance management (with support from a district manager)
  • Maintain accreditation, Medicare/MBS compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Drive a warm, welcoming, patient-focused culture

  • Strong understanding of Medicare, MBS, PRODA, and billing processes
  • Proficiency in Best Practice software
  • HR experience including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  • Financial literacy for budgeting and managing accounts
  • Knowledge of HPSS, Nurses Award, and employment legislation
  • Experience with payroll processes (with accountant support)
