Job summary

Head Medical in Cairns is seeking a full-time GP to join a busy, modern practice in central Cairns. With over 3,000 patients weekly, the clinic offers strong patient flow and a supportive, collaborative team.

The role includes General Medicine, chronic disease management, travel health, pre-employment and Dive Medicals, with onsite pathology and radiology. The roster is flexible around 38 hours per week with optional extra shifts, and accommodation is provided on arrival.

Qualifications

• Registered GP with valid medical qualification and license.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient caseload in a busy practice.
• Flexible roster and team-based care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide General Medicine and Chronic Disease Management.
• Deliver travel health, vaccinations, and minor surgical procedures.
• Perform skin checks and pre-employment/work medicals.
• Collaborate with nurses and allied health in a central Cairns clinic.
